Top Model

So we got 2 new summer interns. One of them I met her in NYC. She is cool but I haven't spoken to her much. The other one is cool too. We had lunch together yesterday and she was questioning me about life. The next thing I knew, I was going on and on talking about America's Top Model. After the long convo, I thought to myself "wow!! television sure does make me know shit!".

Going to the mall

Today I decided to go check out the West Hampton Mall with Jenn and Tammy (my sisters from phi beta kappa alpha). We went in Tammy's vette, since I was having my Audi detailed this weekend.

Afterwards we went to Insta-Tan and stopped to reward ourselves for our hard days work at the Dairy Queen. The strawberry frozen yogurt was good, and we deserved it.

Reflecting on the day, it reminded me that even though it is great to be American, we still have a long way to go towards making larger closets.

Gardening Woes

So, my cute little garden that I started a few weeks ago. I'd love to be able to say it is thriving and flowers are al over the place and I've clipped them and brought them in to my cute little vases inside to spruce up the house. Alas, I can't say that.

Half the flowers look great, seriously. The other half leave much to be desired. But it's weird b/c all the great looking flowers are on one side of the garden and the not so lively ones are on the other. So can I say it's just bad soil on one side that is draining all life out of these poor things? It must be.

Well, I can't seem to get the hang of those darn gardening gloves and manual labour just ruins my manicure!
